Bubbly Hair Cut Celebration
Slowly adjusting to the hair loss of chemotherapy by taking it one step at a time, I take the first step and go from very long hair to medium length, at my Bubbly Hair Cut Celebration. My second step was to a super short cut to prepare me for chemotherapy.

Hats Galore!
So many friends, relatives ,and colleagues will ask "Is there anything that I can do for you?" They ask because they want to help but don’t know how. Have your answer ready. YES. Think of a special time that we spent together and send me a hat according to the event. I received dozens of hats. Each time that the door bell rang I got excited. I looked at the return address and tried to figure out just what kind of hat was inside.Sometimes I cried and laughed at the same time. It sure helped me through the days ahead.

Birthday
Going through chemotherapy is hard enough by itself and especially on your 50th birthday. My birthday is Oct 31--- Yes – Halloween-and that was my last chemo treatment. Two things to celebrate. My friends and I dressed up and passed out gift bags to everybody in the waiting room and in the hospital. I taped the whole thing and sometimes when I need a laugh or just a good cry I watch the tape. This was the only time that I could go without my wig but it was a smashing success with my costume. In fact for every chemo treatment I had a theme and dressed from head to toe. You have to do it so have some fun.

Give Yourself Some Goals.
This is a picture of me and my best friend. She gave me a bottle of Don Perrigon when I found out the news of breast cancer. I didn’t think I could really appreciate the gift so I asked her to wait until my last treatment and that was the perfect time.

Do Something Fun.
I decided to change my whole look. I went blonde. What do you think? Do blondes have more fun----------DAH___________

Keep a scrapbook---------
My scrapbook is one of the best things that I could of done for myself. I took pictures of every flower, every plate of food, every hat, every beautiful thing that came to my mind and put in my book. In fact my one book turned into 3 books because I kept every card all 362, and still adding. I look at it now and know how many people loved me even at a distance.

Buy New Clothes.
Throw out the old and enjoy the new. I truly felt like another person when I was going through all this change in my life so I decided to change too. I like the new me. I’ve learned to love life more each day.

Me and MOM
This is the WIG. What do you think? Nobody even knew. Let Always Love Yourself help you through your journey.
