Always Love Yourself Mobile Salon & Spa
Often in life, when it's times of elation over a Sweet Sixteen Birthday, a Prom or Graduation, a Wedding Day, a New Arrival, or numerous other occasions for celebration, we find ourselves feeling a little "topsy-turvy." At those times, it's wonderful to be able to enjoy some relaxation and rejuvenation. At other times, such as undergoing a major life challenge, our words and those of our loved ones are turned "upside down" too. This year 211,000 American women will find out that they have breast cancer. That's one woman every three minutes.
I am a breast cancer survivor for over one year and a hair designer and international platform artist of 28-plus years. The idea of creating this business came from my own experience during the diagnosis, treatment and post-treatment of my disease. I found that either adequate services didn't exist for cancer patients -- such as finding appropriate wigs, having them styled, learning how to wrap scarves on a now-balding head, and other methods of making you look and feel better -- were very difficult to find.
After much prayerful thought, it became very clear to me that I wanted -- no, I needed -- to help fellow cancer patients and others who feel confined due to illness or other life events. By creating a full-service, handicapped accessible salon and bringing desperately needed services to those who either cannot leave their homes, or would not go out feeling as they do.
I dedicate myself to help boost their self-esteem, to help create a positive perception about how they look and feel, and to help provide support and assistance through their personal challenges with the knowledge that they can make it through whatever obstacles they face. Every day, no matter what, you should always Love Yourself!
Our Mission
To use a mobile day salon and spa to provide products and services to enhance each person's physical, mental and emotional well-being through pampering, education, and continued encouragement. To give each person constant hope, endless strength, and renewed courage and confidence to face their own journey, through my experience.
"Many women remember the day they were told they had breast cancer as an ending, a day that took something away from them and their self-esteem. It doesn't have to be. You are still the vibrant woman you've always been your whole life. I truly felt like another person when I was going through all this change in my life, so I decided to change, too. I like the new me. I've learned to love life more each day!" - Alyce Tipton
